Support with (donation) acquisition

Funding animal welfare work is a serious issue. I jumped in at the deep end and started the shelter without already having donors or other sources of revenue to fund it. Because of the initial situation, I had to use private funds to build the shelter and am currently paying half of the ongoing costs from private as well. I had and have the confidence that the circle of donors will grow little by little and that ways and means of permanent financing will open up. Hereby support, in the truest sense of the word, is worth its weight in gold.

Do you know businesses willing to donate leftover stock or goods for a charitable cause? Items from clearance sales, household liquidations, or store closures can be donated and later sold, auctioned, or raffled off on our Facebook page to raise funds for the shelter.

Another crucial way to help is by spreading the word! Share our mission, tell animal lovers about us, and pass along our homepage link and Facebook page to increase our chances of gaining supporters.
